What this land is
Qusar (Gusar) is a district in northern Azerbaijan, in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus, on the Qusarchay river. It is the only district in the country with a predominantly Lezgin population.
From here it is a short way to Mount Shahdag, the village of Laza with its waterfalls and the border with Russia. Qusar joins an ancient culture with grand mountain nature.

The mountains call
Above Qusar rises Shahdag — one of the highest peaks of Azerbaijan, 4,243 metres tall. At its foot grew the country's first ski resort, open to guests all year round.
